Tamron is bringing the 20-40mm F/2.8 Di III VXD (Model A062) to Nikon Z. Tamron says the full-frame zoom goes on sale October 22, 2026. The company’s own release does not list a US price. DPReview reports $729, which is $30 more than the $699 Sony E version announced in 2022. The Z mount is made under license from Nikon. You can now pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

The range is the reason to look at it. A constant F2.8 from a real 20mm to 40mm covers landscapes and everyday frames without stretching into a 24-70. On a Nikon DX body that is about 30-60mm equivalent. There is no vibration compensation. The small barrel is the compensation.

Official product photo of the Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS | Contemporary. Sony E-mount version shown. $799, ships October 22, 2026. Image: Sigma

Sigma has made the 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS | Contemporary official. Sigma America will sell it from Thursday, October 22, 2026, for $799, in Sony E, Fujifilm X, and Canon RF. There is no L-Mount and no Nikon Z version in this release. Now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

It is the telephoto piece of Sigma’s constant-F2.8 APS-C Contemporary set, next to the 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN and the 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN. Sigma says the three together weigh about 935 g. On an APS-C body the new zoom covers about 75-180mm equivalent, which is the job a 70-200mm F2.8 does on full frame, in a much smaller barrel.

Sigma has added a Nikon Z version of the 16-300mm F3.5-6.7 DC OS | Contemporary. Sigma America says authorized dealers get it on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at a regular price of $769. Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, and L-Mount already sell the same optical design. The Z mount is the new one, made under license from Nikon. You can pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

On a Nikon DX body the range works out to about 24-450mm. Sigma calls the 18.8x zoom the first of its kind on an APS-C mirrorless autofocus lens, as of September 2026. That claim does not travel to the Canon RF version, which Sigma lists at about 25.6-480mm because of Canon’s crop.

Panasonic has added the pancake the compact L-Mount kit was missing. The LUMIX S 20mm F2.5 (S-S20) is a full-frame ultra-wide prime at $499.99 / €499 / £429, due to ship in October 2026. Black is S-S20K at B&H; silver is S-S20S.

B&H Explora is selling it as a street-and-travel walkaround. The numbers back that up: about 142g without caps, 40.9mm from the front glass to the mount, φ69.4mm, 62mm filters. That is the same length and filter size as the S 40mm F2 and the 18-40mm F4.5-6.3 when the zoom is collapsed — one pouch, shared filters, S9-sized full-frame.

Sony has filled the hole the leaks pointed at. The FE 400mm F4.5 GM OSS (SEL400F45GM) (B&H Photo Video) and FE 600mm F6.3 GM OSS (SEL600F63GM) (B&H Photo Video) are official: G Master primes, Optical SteadyShot, and Sony’s claim that each is the world’s lightest lens in its class as of this announcement. Both are due in October 2026.

US list is $2,699.99 for the 400mm and $3,699.99 for the 600mm (Canada: $3,579.99 / $4,999.99). The September 8 rumor dump had the 400mm at $2,699–$2,899 and the 600mm around $3,800. Sony landed on the cheap end of the 400mm band and a hundred under the 600mm leak. Size and weight were already right: the press sheet matches the leaked 108mm barrels, 242mm / 263mm lengths, and sub-kilo masses.

Sony has made the fisheye zoom official. The FE 8-14mm F3.5 Fisheye G (SEL814G) is the company’s first full-frame E-mount fisheye zoom: circular at 8mm, diagonal at 14mm, constant F3.5, $1,599.99 in the United States / $1,999.99 in Canada. Sony says it arrives in October 2026; the US store is already on pre-order with estimated delivery October 13–14. B&H has the lens listed as well for Pre-order.

That is the lens from the leaked product shots and the September 8 date dump. The rumor ticket was about $1,499. Sony’s list is a hundred dollars higher. It is still G, not GM.

Sigma 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary: $849 Compact Zoom for Full-Frame Kit Upgraders

Official product photo of the Sigma 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG Contemporary lens with hood

The other Sigma from today is the more useful one if you still have a kit zoom on the camera. The 20-60mm F2.8-4 DG | Contemporary is a palm-sized full-frame standard zoom for Sony E-mount and L-Mount: $849, 385g (L-Mount) / 375g (Sony E), in US stores from October 6, 2026. Pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

The headline is the wide end. Most “walk-around” zooms start at 24mm or 28mm. This one starts at 20mm and F2.8, then eases to F4 by 60mm. DPReview’s take is the same one Sigma wants: if you bought a body with a slow kit lens, this is the first serious replacement that does not drag a 24-70mm f/2.8 around.

Sigma has stopped teasing and started selling. The 85mm F1.2 DG | Art is out of development and on the price list: $1,599 in the United States, Sony E-mount and L-Mount, from authorized dealers beginning October 6, 2026. You can pre-order at B&H Photo Video.

That finishes the job Sigma set in February. The 85mm now sits next to the 35mm F1.2 DG II | Art and the 50mm F1.2 DG DN | Art as the medium-telephoto leg of a three-lens F1.2 Art set. Dual HLA autofocus, a 13-blade diaphragm, and a claimed class-smallest 905g body are the hardware pitch. We covered the development announcement and early B&H listing in February; this is the full spec sheet and the street date.
