Nikon’s new products are coming! According to the latest rumors from NR, Nikon will announce up to four new lenses, including a new Nikkor Z macro and a new Nikon Z pancake lens. In addition, a new Nikon Z APS-C mirrorless camera is also expected to be announced in the first half of 2021.
Today, Nikon announced two new lenses for Nikon’s full-frame mirrorless system. One is an ultra-fast standard prime Nikon Nikkor Z 50mm F1.2 S lens (B&H/ Adorama), and the other is an ultra-wide zoom Nikon Nikkor Z 14-24mm F2.8 S lens. Along with the new Nikon Z5 (B&H/ Adorama), Nikon has also officially announced the new compact, collapsible Nikon Z 24-50mm F4-6.3 lens. It has 11 elements, including aspherical and ED glass, a stepping motor, minimum focus distance is 35cm (1.2ft) and the maximum magnification is 0.17x and 52mm filters. Ahead of CES 2020, Nikon today has officially announced the new Nikon D780 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), COOLPIX P950 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR Lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon).
The Nikon D780 will be available in late January for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $2,299.95* for the body-only configuration, and $2,799.95* for single-lens kit configuration with the AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR lens. The new NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S lens and COOLPIX P950 will be available in February for suggested retail prices (SRP) of $2,599.95* and $799.95*, respectively. The AF-S NIKKOR 120-300mm f/2.8E FL ED SR VR lens will also be available in February for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $9,499.95.
