Sony Alpha Rumors has posted the first leaked photos of a new FE 8-14mm F3.5 Fisheye G zoom. The product graphic is labeled exactly that way — full-frame E-mount, constant f/3.5, G series, and explicitly a fisheye. If it ships as shown, it would be Sony’s first native FE fisheye zoom. The only first-party option today is still the 16mm fisheye converter that screws onto the FE 28mm f/2.
What the leak actually shows
The side-on product image is the useful frame. You can read zoom marks at 8 / 11 / 14mm, a dedicated aperture ring with an A position and stops through f/22 (f/5.6, 8, 11, 16, and 22 are visible), a silver G badge, a focus-hold button, an AF/MF switch, and E-mount printed next to the alignment dot. The front element is the usual fisheye giveaway: large, convex, and sitting proud of the rim.

Two more frames look like campaign stills rather than a spec sheet. One puts the line “Reframe Reality” across that front glass. The other shows the lens on an Alpha body. Both carry SAR watermarks. They confirm the bulbous barrel and do not add an optical formula, AF type, weather-sealing claim, or dimensions — none of those are visible, and we are not going to invent them.

G, not GM — and a September window
Sony is putting this in the G line, not G Master. That fits the rest of the current rumor cycle: Photo Rumors and others have grouped an 8-14mm f/3.5 with two lighter GM teles — a 400mm f/4.5 GM OSS and a 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS — as a September set. SAR is openly asking for more on those “September announcements.” There is still no official date, and this photo does not confirm price.
Earlier reports have floated about $1,499 for the 8-14mm. Treat that as a separate rumor, not something the leak image proves.
Nikon already sells an 8–15mm fisheye zoom; Canon has RF fisheye zooms. Sony’s FE catalog has been late to this niche. A constant-aperture 8-14mm would finally give E-mount shooters a first-party diagonal fisheye zoom instead of a converter or a third-party prime.
