Sigma fp II Rumor: Cine L-Mount Compact with an EVF, Around $2,500

Photo of the current Sigma fp L camera, not the rumored Sigma fp II

L-Rumors says several trusted sources are describing a Sigma fp II: a cine-leaning L-mount compact with an EVF, due soon. Sigma has not announced it. There is no body photo of the new camera.

The list is short, and one line is already hedged. A 24MP sensor is written down with the note that it is unclear whether that sensor is actually this camera’s. The rest, as published: L-mount, open gate, internal RAW, an EVF, a body slightly bigger than the current fp L, a price around $2,500, and an announcement that could land by November — or, the site asks, on October 24.

Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS Contemporary Leak: 390g on Sony E, 18/13, HLA

how2fly (@camerainsider) posted a spec list and three photos for a Sigma 50-120mm F2.8 DC OS | Contemporary. Sigma has not announced the lens. DC is Sigma’s APS-C line, and the lineup shot puts the new barrel next to the existing 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN and 18-50mm F2.8 DC DN.

The only weight in the post is 390 g for Sony E. No other mount, no price, and no ship date are in that post.

Canon EOS R7 V Rumor: A Video-Line APS-C Body for Late 2027 or Early 2028

Unofficial mockup badged EOS R50 V, used with a Canon Rumors story about a rumored EOS R7 V
Unofficial mockup used on Canon Rumors’ R7 V story. The body in the graphic is badged EOS R50 V, not an EOS R7 V. Canon has not shown an R7 V. Image via Canon Rumors.

Canon Rumors says an EOS R7 V is in Canon’s pipeline, with a current announcement window of Q4 2027 or Q1 2028. That sits behind the still-unannounced EOS R7 Mark II, which CR continues to place in Q1 2027. There is no sensor, no body, and no price on the V.

The site says the name has shown up in roadmap presentations. The only other camera named in that same telling is the EOS R10 Mark II, which CR thinks is also an early-2027 announcement. Specs CR has heard for the R7 Mark II are being held back: the site says it is not confident enough to publish them.

Canon EOS R7 Mark II Rumor: Q1 2027, Still Not a 2026 Camera

Unofficial mockup of a Canon EOS R7 Mark II, not a real product photo
Unofficial mockup only — an EOS R7 body with a Mark II badge. Canon has not shown an EOS R7 Mark II. Image via Canon Rumors.

Canon Rumors is putting the EOS R7 Mark II in Q1 2027, and it is still saying the camera is not a 2026 product. The site first parked the body outside this year in April. This update is a window, not a spec sheet.

The timing comes from a source CR calls fairly reliable: anonymous for years, right more often than not. CR has been leaning toward a launch ahead of CP+ in late February, on the idea that a high-volume APS-C body would want that show. A second source did not have a date, and only described the camera as a “massive” step for Canon’s APS-C line. No sensor, burst rate, or price is attached to either tip.

Nikon Z5IIC Leak Update: Nikon.de Launch Offer, Japan Event Listing, Sept. 24

Leaked Z5IIC Launch Offer graphic via Nikon Rumors, not an official product photo

The name is now on Nikon’s own sites, not just in a rumor post. Nikon Rumors says Z5IIC listings started appearing on Nikon web pages, and posted screenshots of a Nikon Germany launch offer plus a Nikon Imaging Japan event filter that treats Z5IIC as a camera you can tick, next to the Z5II.

That is a step on from Friday’s “next week” item. NR has also tightened the spec list: no viewfinder (the bump hedge is gone), IBIS, a new AF subject class called Fish, black or silver-top editions, and a date — September 24.

Nikon Z5 IIC Rumor: Compact a7C Rival, 24MP, Aimed at Next Week

Official product photo of the current Nikon Z5II, not the rumored Z5IIC

Nikon Rumors says Nikon will announce a Z5IIC next week — a compact full-frame body aimed at Sony’s a7C series. The name is NR’s spelling; it reads as a compact Z5II, not a confirmed product code. Nikon has not posted a camera, a price, or a photo of this body.

The list NR is willing to print is short: full-frame 24 MP, “new video features” with no codecs or frame rates attached, and a viewfinder line that is still two stories — no finder, or a built-in finder with no viewfinder bump. NR has not picked one.

EOS R8 Mark II Leak Update: “Fully” Weather-Sealed, Body Now $1,899

Leaked EOS R8 Mark II photo circulating via Reddit and Canon Rumors. Certification-style, not an official Canon marketing image.

Two days out from the rumored New York date, Canon Rumors has revised the EOS R8 Mark II sheet. The headline changes are weather sealing and money: the body is now $1,899, not the $1,799 CR had been carrying, and Canon is said to be calling the camera “fully” weather-sealed. The €1,879 figure is unchanged. Tuesday, September 15, 2026 is still the announcement. Shipping has been tightened to the second half of October.

This is still a rumor update, not a Canon press release. CR says it has “confirmed” the new items with its sources and that there are “no more surprises coming.” Treat the numbers as the latest leak, not a store listing.

Canon EOS R9 Rumor: A 2027 Budget Full-Frame Under the R8 Mark II

Unofficial mockup of a Canon EOS R9, based on an EOS RP body with an R9 badge
Unofficial mockup only — an EOS RP with an R9 badge, not a real camera. Canon has not shown an EOS R9. Image via Canon Rumors.

Canon Rumors is floating a cheaper full-frame body under the EOS R8 Mark II and, for now, calling it the EOS R9. That name is a placeholder, not a Canon product code. CR says a couple of people told the site over the last few days that the R8 Mark II will not be the entry-level full-frame camera, and that another one is “said to be coming at some point in 2027.”

The site is not treating this as a hard leak. Quote: it is not putting any level of confidence into the information — only that it “seems plausible.” There is no sensor, no body photo, and no launch month. The header graphic is an unofficial mockup of an EOS RP with an R9 badge glued on.

First Real-Looking EOS R8 Mark II Photos Leak: Joystick, Side SD Door, Micro-HDMI

Leaked front view of a Canon EOS R8 Mark II body without a lens
Leaked EOS R8 Mark II photo circulating via Reddit and Canon Rumors. Certification-style, not an official Canon marketing image.

Canon Rumors says the photos are no longer mockups. A Reddit post dumped a set of Canon EOS R8 Mark II pictures that look like certification-house shots — white background, mixed color and grayscale, doors open — not a Canon campaign. CR’s line is blunt: “These images are 100% real.” They are still not official Canon marketing, and the camera is still unannounced.

That is the update after yesterday’s looks-like-Sony mockup. The top plate in this set is labeled EOS R8 Mark II. The back has the joystick the original R8 never got. The spec sheet next to the gallery is the same rumor list we already ran — treat the hardware in the photos as the news, and the 24MP / $1,799 column as still unofficial.

Sony Alpha Rumors says a trusted source has now locked the date: the three new FE lenses — FE 400mm f/4.5 GM OSS, FE 600mm f/6.3 GM OSS, and the FE 8-14mm f/3.5 Fisheye G — will be announced on September 8 around 3 p.m. London time. A follow-up leak adds European street-style prices next to the earlier U.S. dollar figures.

This is still a rumor, not a Sony press release. No optical formula, autofocus type, or weather-sealing claim has been shown for the two primes. Treat the numbers below as the leak, not a spec sheet.
