According thecamerainsider, Canon will likely announce the new Canon EOS R5 Mark II in February of 2024.
February will bring a major camera announcement, which is the same month as the CP+ show in Japan.
This is also the time of year when dealers have finalised their holiday buys, especially ahead of Black Friday in November and Christmas season in December. So there are no more camera announcements coming in 2023.
It seems possible that Canon will announce the new EOS R5 Mark II around CP+. It is rumored that Canon EOS R1 will be released in 2024, so it looks like Canon will continue to make big announcements.
