Along with Sigma 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN Contemporary Lens (B&H/ Adorama) for Sony E , Leica L and Fujifilm X mounts. Sigma also anoounced the development of Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS Sports lens, which will be available in late 2023.
This has been a highly anticipated lens from Sigma because it is one of the most popular lenses for working professionals, sports photographers, portrait photographers, and other specialists. It will be a lens for full-frame L-Mount and Sony E systems and will complement Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 zooms as a trio of high-grade f/2.8 zooms that cover ultra-wide 24mm to medium-telephoto 200mm.
As part of the Sports series of Sigma’s lineup, this lens will emphasize speed and reliability, including quick autofocus, thanks to an HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor, a new optical stabilizer with the latest OS2 algorithm, and their most robust weather resistance.
We’re looking forward to more details and specifications for the 70-200mm f/2.8 in the coming months.
