In 2024, there will be a lot of new Canon cameras to be released. Below is a list of rumored Canon compact cameras, RF mount cameras to be announced in 2024. See the rumored Canon Camera Roadmap below:
- Canon EOS R8 (Released, Buy at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon)
- Canon EOS R50 (Released, Buy at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon)
- Canon EOS R100 (Released, Buy at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon)
The successor of Canon EOS R5, rumored to feature with a 45MP full frame CMOS sensor, announcement on May 21-23, 2024. It will not feature Global Shutter as on Sony a9 III. Release date is expected in June to July 2024.
Flagship full frame mirrorless camera, to compete with Nikon Z9 and Sony a1, the official development announcement is on May 15, 2024. Release date is expected in the Q4 of 2024.
Flagship APS-C RF mount mirrorless camera, to compete with Sony a6700. The official announcement is expected in 2024 to 2025.
- Canon EOS R7 C
A cinema version of current EOS R7 APS-C mirrorless camera, release date in 2024.
- Canon EOS R5 S
100+ MP high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to compete with Sony a7R V, announcement in 2024.
- Canon EOS R6 Mark III
Canon EOS R6 Mark III is the successor of EOS R6 Mark II, release date is expected in 2025.
- Canon EOS R3 Mark II
Canon EOS R3 Mark II is the successor of EOS R3, release date is expected in 2025.
- Canon EOS R10 Mark II
Canon EOS R10 Mark II is the successor of EOS R10, expected to be released in 2025.
