Canon EOS R5 Mark II and A New Full Frame Camera (EOS R9 or EOS R6 Mark III) to be Announced on May 16 ?
Canon’s launch cycle has been unconventional lately, likely due to past leaks of major products. Simon from The Ordinary Filmmaker reports that a source with a 75% hit rate claims Canon will officially announce two full-frame camera bodies this month. Interestingly, one of them isn’t the EOS R1, which is expected to have a similar development announcement and launch as the EOS R3 prior to the Tokyo games.

The highly anticipated Canon EOS R5 Mark II is rumored to be announced before the end of April, with availability expected a few months later. Canon EOS R5 Mark II: 45MP Sensor Expected Again but with AI Upgrades
