Canon EOS R5 Mark II is an upcoming high-end full frame mirrorless camera to be announced in late May 2024. Canon EOS R5 Mark II will have a lot of improvements over EOS R5. Canon EOS R5 Mark II and A New Full Frame Camera (EOS R9 or EOS R6 Mark III) to be Announced on May 16 ?
Canon’s launch cycle has been unconventional lately, likely due to past leaks of major products. Simon from The Ordinary Filmmaker reports that a source with a 75% hit rate claims Canon will officially announce two full-frame camera bodies this month. Interestingly, one of them isn’t the EOS R1, which is expected to have a similar development announcement and launch as the EOS R3 prior to the Tokyo games.

Canon has just registered a new camera code “DS126928” in China several days. Along with previous camera code “DS126922”, now there are two unannounced Canon cameras, most probably the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1.
