Nikon recently has announced the new 24mm f/1.8G ED lens several weeks ago, with no vibration reduction feature. Now, Nikon Japan has filed a patent for 28mm f/1.8 VR lens. Nikon has already released no VR version of 28mm f/1.8G lens price for $699.

Canon recently filed a new lens patent for EF 600mm f/4 DO IS USM lens. This is another super telephoto prime DO lens. Last year, Canon announced the EF 400mm f/4 DO IS II USM lens, price for $6,899, currently in stock at Amazon.
Olympus ED 500mm f/4 PRO IS Lens Patent
Olympus has filed a new lens patent on M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 500mm f/4 PRO IS lens. This is another upcoming super-telephoto prime lens for Micro Four Thirds system. The Olympus 300mm f/4 PRO lens (B&H Photo Video) is delayed until late 2015.
