As rumored before, Nikon is going to announce full frame mirrorless camera on July 23rd. Now, it turns out that Nikon has create a video marketing campaign “In Pursuit of Light“, and first video “Travel of Light” is already available, you can see the video above.
The new announced Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens now already spotted at a FIFA World Cup 2018 event. First image of this lens is available. According to previous rumors, this lens will cost around $4,000, and length is about 24cm. The weight of this lens is very light, according to Pavel Bednyakov who leaked this image on twitter, this lens is less than 1kg.

Now it seems we may see Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras earlier than expected. According to NR, development announcement of first two Nikon full frame mirrorless cameras could be at the end of this month. And release date in late August.
Here is more detail of previous registered two new Nikon camera codes: N1710 and N1711. Nokishita camera confirmed that these two camera codes are use same battery EN-EL15a. This means we will soon see two new high-end cameras, most likely are Nikon D760 and Nikon full frame mirrorless camera.

Nikon USA today has officially announced the development of Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens. It is a lightweight, compact super telephoto prime lens. The price, pictures, specs, and release date is not available yet, expect the official announcement will be around Photokina 2018 in September.
At CP+ Show in Japan in early March, NHK World Japan has an interview with Nikon executive officer Kimito Uemura. Nikon executive confirmed that Nikon will bring new Nikon mirrorless cameras to market by Spring of 2019.
