Zeiss Announced New Telephoto and Macro Zoom Lenses for iPhone 6/6s

Zeiss and ExoLens today launched a telephoto lens and a macro-zoom lens for the iPhone 6 family on the market. The Mutar 2.0x Asph T* offers a short telephoto frame of view equivalent to that of a 56mm lens on a full frame camera. The Zeiss Vario-Proxar 40-80 T* is a macro-zoom lens that allows users to capture objects as close as three centimeters away from the lens. The recommended price of the telephoto lens is US$ 199.99, and US$ 149.99 for the macro-zoom. These two new lenses will be available in Mid-September, 2016. Zeiss has officially announced the new Batis 18mm f/2.8 lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 lens costs $1,499 in USD, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video and Adorama.com (Pre-order links will be available soon). It will be released in May, 2016.

Zeiss is Working on 5 More FE Lenses for Sony Full Frame Mirrorless Cameras

According to a recent interview with Zeiss’s managers by iLHP at PhotoPlus 2015. Zeiss currently is working on 5 more Full frame E-mount lenses for a7 series mirrorless cameras. In 2016, we can expect Zeiss to release 2 or 3 of these lenses.
