As rumored before, Zeiss will soon announce the new Batis 40mm f/2 CF lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Now, NokishitaCamera has leaked the first images of this Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF lens.
Japanese website Nokishita Camera has confirmed that Zeiss will soon announce their fifth Batis lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. This lens is Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF FE lens.
The upcoming Zeiss Batis 135mm f/2.8 lens now get confirmed by Japanese website NokishitaCamera. According to previous rumors, it will be officially announced on April 5, next week.
After Sony has announced two GM lenses early this year, the third GM lens will be Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM lens, according to rumors from web.
According to SAR, Zeiss will announce two more batis lenses and two more loxia lenses by the end of 2016. Which means, Zeiss will have 5 Batis lenses and 5 Loxia lenses by the end of 2016.
Zeiss has officially announced the new Batis 18mm f/2.8 lens for Sony full frame mirrorless cameras. The Zeiss Batis 2.8/18 lens costs $1,499 in USD, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video and Adorama.com (Pre-order links will be available soon). It will be released in May, 2016.
