Zeiss today has just announced a series of new Milvus full frame lenses (B&H Photo Video , Adorama) for Canon EF-mount and Nikon F-mount DSLR cameras. These lenses are manual focus. ZEISS say they are the company’s answer to towards high-resolution sensors in modern cameras which require higher image quality.
According to recently rumors from CR, Zeiss will announce a new Otus lens in this September, 2015. This new Otus lens will be a wide angle prime lens.

Matt Granger has posted a video comparison review of Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 lens (B&H | Adorama) and Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 lens (B&H | Adorama). Both lenses are tested on Sony Alpha a7II full frame mirrorless camera. Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 is $1,199, will be shipping on July 17th, 2015.
