Tamron Japan has just filed a new lens patent on Tamron 70-200mm f/4 VC full frame lens. This lens should be cheaper than Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM and Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 70-200mm f/4G ED VR.
According to SAR, Zeiss will announce two more batis lenses and two more loxia lenses by the end of 2016. Which means, Zeiss will have 5 Batis lenses and 5 Loxia lenses by the end of 2016.

It will be the widest prime that company offers (not counting its 8mm fisheye) and provides an equivalent 24mm view on Micro Four Thirds bodies. Designed to withstand a little wear-and-tear in the form of splashes and dust, the 12mm F1.4 offers a dedicated ring to control its nine-bladed aperture.
