According to Japanese website “Photo of the Day”, Ricoh will release a new Pentax APS-C DSLR camera next year around CP+ 2020. According to rumors, this camera will be the successor of Pentax K-3 II, but not K-3 III, will be a new line of camera similar to K-3 line with best image quality of all Pentax APS-C cameras. The image processing mechanism of this APS-C DSLR camera will dramatically improved.
According recently interview with Ricoh executives by dpreview, Ricoh will announce the replacement of Ricoh GR II and Pentax K-3 II.
According to NokishitaCamera, Ricoh will announce the new Pentax K-1 Mark II soon. The announcement date is unknown yet, maybe around CP+ Show in Japan in early March.
A new DSLR camera named Pentax KP is registered at Indonesian telecommunication agency. This camera will be officially announced at CP+ Show in Japan in February, 2017.
The upcoming Pentax K-1 full frame DSLR will be announced soon, probably on February 18th, 2016. According to PR, the price for Pentax K-1 body only is Euro 1,999. And there will be a kit lens available: Pentax 28-105mm f/3.5-5.6 lens. A new HD Pentax-D FA 15-30mm f/2.8 SDM lens will be also announced at the same time.
