According to PF, a new Pentax APS-C DSLR camera will be announced in early 2019, around CP+ Show in February. This new Pentax APS-C camera will not replace current Pentax K-3 series, instead, it will be a new model, and to have some more features from Pentax K-1 series. Stay tuned.
After the release of Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and EOS M5, next big thing from Canon is the rumored Canon EOS 6D Mark II. According to CanonRumors, Canon EOS 6D Mark II will coming in the first half of 2017, probably at CP+ Show in February in Japan.
Nikon recently has announced the new Nikon D5 (Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama) flagship full frame DSLR camera at CES 2016. So when will Canon release their 1D X Mark II ? CanonRumors has confirmed that Canon EOS-1D X Mark II will be announced in February or March of 2016. Probably at CP+ Show in Japan in February, and 1D X Mark II will start shipping in April, 2016.

At CP+ Show 2015 in Japan, Canon shows off a new 120MP high megapixel CMOS sensor, according to Canon, this sensor has a pixel count equivalent to the number of photoreceptors cells in the human eye. Canon is considering this sensor technology for use in video production, monitoring, avation and space application.
