A new Sony FE lens is coming! According to the latest rumors from SAR, Sony is planning to announce Sony FE 28-75mm F2.8 lens in the next month to compete with the current Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 Di III RXD lens and Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens.
Tamron 28-75 and Sigma 28-75mm lens are very small and lightweight for a large-diameter standard zoom and seem to sell very well.
However, until now, Sony was well separated from Tamron in the lens lineup, so it seems a bit surprising to put out a lens that competes with Tamron’s popular lenses.
