Sony a7 IV was released on December 17th, 2021 and it won the 1st place with an overwhelming difference of 3 times or more to the 2nd place. Sony struggled a lot while other manufacturers suffered from a serious supply shortage, but the supply could not catch up and it is now in the order state.
Unfortunately, Nikon Z9 in 2nd place was informed by the manufacturer that there was a shortage of supply at the initial stage of reservation start. The situation has not changed since the beginning of the year, and a long-term delay in delivery is expected due to a serious shortage of semiconductors.
Instead, Canon has EOS R6 in 3rd place, EOS RP in 4th place, and EOS R5 in 10th place. It was a year that made me feel the resurrection of Canon, but I can’t help but hope that the EOS R3 will be added here.
