According to latest rumors, Sony will announce the rumored a9 Mark II flagship full frame mirrorless camera in September 2019. Sony a9 II will replace currently a9 with revolution features.
The Sony a9 is only two years old, so why Sony a9II coming so early ? Because Sony want to release something for the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Currently Sony has developed at least three new full frame image sensors: IMX455 (60MP, 8K Video, Low Version of IMX551), IMX551 (60MP), IMX555 (102MP, 6K Video).
