Cosina has officially announced the Voigtlander SEPTON 40mm f/2 Aspherical pancake lens for Sony E-mount and Nikon Z-mount. This compact manual focus lens measures just 30mm from the mount surface and weighs only 165g. It will be available in March 2026 at a price of ¥85,000 (approx. $560).
According to Canon Rumors, the Canon EOS R3 Mark II has reportedly been spotted in testing at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. The camera is said to feature the industry’s first dual native resolution back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, capable of switching between 54MP and 24MP modes.
According to Fujirumors, Sigma is expected to make a major announcement on February 26, 2026, which may include new APS-C lenses for Fujifilm X-mount. The announcement timing coincides with the CP+ 2026 show in Japan.
Sigma has been steadily expanding its Fujifilm X-mount lens lineup over the past couple of years, and this could be a significant expansion. The DJI Avata 360, DJI’s first 360-degree FPV drone, is confirmed for a March 2026 announcement. A leaked instructional video discovered in the DJI Goggles beta software reveals the battery insertion process and provides the first official box image of the drone.
The Avata 360 combines FPV flying agility with 360-degree video capture in a single compact cinewhoop-style frame. It will be announced first in mainland China, with global availability expected shortly after.

Insta360 CEO Liu Jingkang has officially confirmed the company’s first pocket gimbal camera at the annual meeting. Named “Luna,” this dual-lens handheld camera is set to launch in the first half of 2026 and will directly compete with the upcoming DJI Osmo Pocket 4.
The Luna represents Insta360’s bold entry into the pocket gimbal camera market that DJI has dominated for years. Unlike the standard single-camera pocket gimbals, the Luna features a dual-camera setup and a modular design where the camera unit can be separated from the gimbal for standalone use.
Tamron has announced the Tamron Link (Model TL-01), a new wireless accessory that enables Bluetooth control of compatible Tamron lenses via smartphone. Alongside the Tamron Link, the company has also released the Tamron Lens Utility Mobile app for iOS, expanding compatibility beyond Android devices.
The Tamron Link connects to a compatible Tamron lens and communicates wirelessly with your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.4, with a maximum range of 5 meters (16.4 feet). This eliminates the need for a cable connection between the camera and phone, giving photographers and videographers more flexibility on set.
The accessory works with the updated Tamron Lens Utility app (now version 5.0), which adds several new features including Focus/Iris Marker Link, Ring Stopper for preventing unintended adjustments, selectable focus and aperture rotation angles, Focus Time Lapse for interval shooting, Astro Focus Lock with fine adjustment, and a Night Mode that turns the screen red for low-light shooting.
The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has been spotted in the wild! A customer walked into an authorized DJI store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia carrying the unreleased DJI Pocket 4, and the store staff captured hands-on video footage of the device. This is the first confirmed real-world sighting of the Pocket 4 outside of China.
The short video, posted by DronesKaki (an authorized DJI retailer at Bukit Bintang, Fahrenheit 88), shows the Pocket 4 in action with its signature 3-axis gimbal stabilization and a notable new feature: a built-in LED fill light on the front of the device.

Images of Canon’s upcoming wireless microphone system have leaked online, revealing a compact Bluetooth-based lavalier mic designed specifically for Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras. The system, codenamed WM-E1-R, consists of a transmitter and receiver unit.
The leaked images show a sleek, black, oval-shaped transmitter with the Canon logo and “WM-E1-R” labeling, alongside a square-shaped receiver designed to mount directly onto the Canon Multi-Function Shoe found on EOS R cameras. The receiver also includes a 3.5mm jack for compatibility with other cameras.

7Artisans is preparing to announce a new AF 135mm f/1.8 full-frame prime lens at the 2026 CP+ show in Japan. The lens will be available in Sony E-mount, Nikon Z mount, and Leica L mount.
The 7Artisans 135mm f/1.8 AF combines a classic portrait focal length with a fast f/1.8 aperture, delivering shallow depth of field and a natural compression effect that makes it ideal for portrait photography. The lens features a relatively short minimum focusing distance of 0.68m for a 135mm lens, allowing for tighter compositions and close-up detail shots.
The lens includes a physical aperture ring for intuitive exposure control, an AF/MF switch for quick focus mode changes, and a customizable function button that can be assigned to various camera functions. It appears to share a similar optical design with the well-regarded Viltrox AF 135mm f/1.8 LAB lens (B&H), which currently retails for $899.

Tamron has officially announced the 35-100mm f/2.8 Di III VXD (Model A078), a new fast-aperture portrait zoom lens designed for Sony E-mount and Nikon Z mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. It will hit the shelves on March 26, 2026.
If you’re familiar with Tamron’s popular 35-150mm f/2-2.8 Di III VXD (Model A058), think of this as its more portable sibling. The A078 trims the zoom range to focus on the sweet spot for portrait photography — 35mm to 100mm — while maintaining a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the entire range. The result is a lens that weighs just 565g and measures only 119.2mm in length (Sony E-mount version), making it noticeably easier to carry around all day.
The optical design uses 15 elements in 13 groups, and Tamron says it delivers high resolution with rich, smooth bokeh — exactly what portrait shooters want. The VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor provides fast and precise autofocus, which should help nail those fleeting natural expressions.
One nice touch: the minimum focusing distance at the wide end is just 0.22m (8.7 inches), giving you some real close-up versatility for tabletop and detail shots. The lens also features a unified 67mm filter size (consistent with many other Tamron lenses), moisture-resistant construction, and fluorine coating on the front element.
The lens is compatible with the TAMRON Lens Utility™ app, which lets you customize button functions and fine-tune AF behavior. Tamron also just released a new Tamron Link (Amazon) wireless accessory for remote lens control via Bluetooth.
