Japanese lens manufacturer Tamron recently announced promising financial results for the fiscal year ending December 2023, highlighting double-digit growth in sales of lenses for mirrorless cameras. Tamron reported total sales in its photography-related business increased by approximately 7.5 billion yen, representing impressive 16% year-on-year growth.

ZEISS Announced the Entry-Level Nano Prime Cinema Lens Line

Zeiss has just officially announced the new ZEISS Nano Prime lenses. They are designed for mid-range cameras, such as the Sony FX-9 or BURANO, to lower-end cinema cameras, such as the Sony FX-6 or FX-3. Six lenses come in 18mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm focal lengths with feet or meter markings.
