Matt Granger has posted a video comparison review of Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 lens (B&H | Adorama) and Zeiss Otus 85mm f/1.4 lens (B&H | Adorama). Both lenses are tested on Sony Alpha a7II full frame mirrorless camera. Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 is $1,199, will be shipping on July 17th, 2015.

Several days ago, rumors from SAR said that Sony will update their FE lens roadmap with 6 new FE lenses in late this week or early next week, most readers take this just a rumor. Now, we are now 100% sure Sony will release 7 more new FE lenses within next 8 months (Before end of Spring, 2016). Update: Most readers think that we are just making a new rumor based on SAR rumor last several days ago, we heared this confirmation of 7 new FE lenses is from a Sony Tester, and he is told by Sony mananger about this news, so this is not the same rumor as SAR.

Dan Chung at NewsShooter has recently posted a hands-on first impressions of the new announced Sony Alpha a7RII (Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama, Best Buy). He thinks Sony a7RII is the most promising compact system camera for video to date, he got four big surpises when testing the new a7RII. The only downsides of this camera so far is that the a7R II eats batteries when set for 4K video.

Yesterday, we first posted the high ISO sample images of Sony a7RII (not full size) at ISO, 6400, 12800 and 25600. Many of our readers asked for full size images or 100% crop images. Today, we got more from that Chinese reader: 100% crop images from these ISO 6400, ISO 12800 and ISO 25600 a7RII (Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama, Best Buy) samples.
Update: Here are first 100% crop images from a7RII ISO 25600, 12800, 6400.
A reader from Chinese website pconline forum posted first high ISO sample images taken by new announced Sony Alpha a7RII (Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama, Best Buy) with FE 16-35mm f/4 ZA OSS lens. According to the reader, the AF speed if a7RII is very fast, below are sample images taken at ISO 200, ISO 6400, ISO 12800 and ISO 25600.
