COOLPIX A1000 is a stylish compact digital camera equipped with an electronic viewfinder that supports 35x optical zoom. According to Nokishita Camera, Leica will soon announce a new compact camera called “D-LUX 7”. The code of this camera is “3952”, already registered in the certification body.
Canon will probably refreshed new compact cameras at upcoming CES 2019 in early January. The most likely to announced are PowerShot G7 X Mark III and PowerShot G9 X Mark III.

Ricoh has announced the development of GRIII high-end compact camera today, it will have a preview show at Photokina 2018. GRIII has a significant update to the GR and GR II. The camera gains sensor-shift image stabilization and on-sensor phase detection as part of an updated 24MP sensor. The camera’s 28mm equivalent F2.8 lens has also been redesigned and a touchscreen added for the first time. Price is not available yet, release date is in early 2019.
