Canon has recently filed a new lens patent on EF-S 20mm f/2.8 STM lens. Canon has already announced the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 Pancake lens recently. This seems another cheap prime lens for Canon APS-C DSLR cameras.

Canon has filed a new lens patent for Canon EF 10mm f/2.8L ultra-wide angle prime lens for full fram DSLR cameras. If this lens is announced one day, it will the widest prime lens for Canon full frame DSLR cameras. This lens could also replace the current EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM lens.

The Canon EOS 5Ds will be finally released soon. You can pre-order now at Amazon | B&H | Adorama . Photography Blog has posted more sample images of 5Ds with most Canon EF lenses.
According to DPReview Administrators (who just wrote a hands-on Preview with Sony a7R II article), the new announced Sony Alpha a7R II (B&H Photo / Adorama)’s on-sensor phase-detection AF works “very well” with Canon EF lenses via Metabones Adapter.
The long awaited Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM lens now is in testing by selected photographers. The release date of this lens will be within next 6 months, and announcement date will be sometime in 2015 according to CR.
