Canon Full Frame Mirrorless Camera is rumored to be announced at Photokina 2018.
Many people are waiting for the Canon full frame mirrorless camera. It seems that we are getting near, the official announcement could be on September 5th, next week. And according to latest rumors, the first Canon full frame mirrorless camera could be named Canon EOS R. It will compete with current Sony a7 III and Nikon Z6.
The upcoming Canon full frame mirrorless cameras will be officially announced after Photokina 2018. According to latest rumors, new 50mm lenses will be also announced along with Canon full frame mirrorless cameras.
Nikon will officially announce their full frame mirrorless cameras Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 on August 23rd. While Canon is not in a rush to enter the mirrorless market, according to latest rumors, Canon may not announce their full frame mirrorless cameras before Photokina 2018 in September, the official announcement will be in October, 2018. And first Canon full frame mirrorless camera will be released at the end of 2018 or early 2019.

As rumored before, Canon currently has several new cameras in testing. We may see first product announcement in the first week of September. The upcoming Canon full frame mirrorless camera and Canon EOS M5 Mark II are likely to be announced. Both cameras will be shown at Photokina 2018 on September 26.
