Zeiss has announced three new Milvus lenses today: Zeiss Milvus 15mm f/2.8 lens, Zeiss Milvus 18mm f/2.8 lens, Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 lens. The price for Zeiss Milvus 15mm f/2.8 lens is $2,699, price for Zeiss Milvus 18mm f/2.8 lens is $2,299, price for Zeiss Milvus 135mm f/2 lens is $2,199. All these three lenses will be shipping at end of October, 2016.

DxOMark has just tested two Sony FE lenses today, the Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens (B&H | Amazon | Adorama) and FE 50mm f/1.8 lens (B&H | Amazon | Adorama). Both are tested on Sony Alpha a7RII, the FE 85mm f/1.4 GM lens performance even better than Otus lens tested on Nikon D810. And FE 50mm f/1.8 lens is an affordable standard prime lens for Sony a7RII.

Canon has announced Cinema EOS C700 and XC15 4K camcorder today. With the release of these cameras, Canon has become a worthy competitor with the ARRI Alexa. While the Xc15 is a great option for budding (but serious) cinematographers, the C700 is targeted primarily at high-end, Hollywood-style productions as well as ENG/EFP television production.
