Here are more talk on the rumored high megapixel sensor EOS 3D, according to latest rumors on Northlight, the EOS 3D will have a 52MP sensor instead of rumored 46 or 50MP sensor.
As NL said, It will be based on the 4.2 micron pixel design of the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, not the long-in-the-tooth 4.3 micron design of the 18mp APS-C sensors. When translated to full frame, that totals about 52mp. It’s also suggested that delays in this camera have come from getting an economical yield from the sensor manufacturing process at full frame.

4k video recording?
why??
Who cares about video recording. Just give me fast and accurate autofocus, a good burst rate, and possibility for geotagging
I love Canon dearly but they take so damn long, have 0 noise reduction, and then after 3~4 years of rumors Nikon drops a beast. All Canon can do by then is say” oh yeah, well, here’s our new camera too….” “it’s a full grand more than that Nikon but you should still buy this….” “no we don’t do 60fps or 4K but still buy us…” It’s sad, so very sad.
that’s true they need to step up there game or a lot of loyal customers are going to move to bigger and better things. They need to focus more on there customers, than there bottom line.!!! If this year I don’t see anything better from canon I’m OUT!!!
