The name of upcoming Sony NEX-FF mirrorless cameras are Sony Alpha A7 and Sony Alpha A7r.
It seems Sony will make all full frame high-end cameras to have the name of “Alpha”.
The cheap NEX-FF camera will be named as Sony Alpha A7.
And the high-end NEX-FF camera will be named as Sony Alpha A7r.
