According to latest rumors, the long awaited Sony 85mm f/1.4 GM II lens will be announced by Sony this spring, likely in March or April, and will be in stock by early summer, likely May or June.
While specific details are still unconfirmed, sources suggest the lens will maintain the same f/1.4 maximum aperture as the current model but feature optical improvements for enhanced image quality and sharpness. The new 85mm GM II is also expected to be slightly more compact and lightweight than its predecessor.
