Several days ago, NIKKEI confirmed that Nikon will release a new mirrorless camera price around $1,000. Now another Japanese news site Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun talked with Nikon CEO Toshikazu Umatate, and confirmed that Nikon will also release a new high-end flagship Z-mount mirrorless camera which is similar as currently Nikon D5 DSLR camera (or upcoming Nikon D6). Though the release date is not available yet, maybe in 2020 to 2021.

This high-end Z-mount mirrorless camera could be named Nikon Z8 or Nikon Z9. It will have similar features as Nikon D5 or upcoming D6. Stay tuned for more info.

As already confirmed before, Nikon is going to released a new Nikon Z-mount mirrorless camera price around $1,000 to compete with Canon EOS RP, now Japanese News site NIKKEI also said that a new Nikon mid-level mirrorless camera for most Nikon users.
