Zeiss has released the US price for Otus 28mm f/1.4 wide-angle prime lens, the US price is $4,990, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video. This lens will be released at the end of February, 2016.

Zeiss has just announced the new Otus 1.4/28 (28mm f/1.4 Distagon T*) lens today. Available for Canon EF mount and Nikon F mount. The price for this lens is not yet announced, will be shipping in the second quarter of 2016. Zeiss said this lens is “The world’s best wide-angle lens.” High-res sample images are available at Flickr.
