A Japanese magazine Nippon has posted their predictions for cameras to be released in 2013. The list falls in line with most things we’ve heard, except for the last camera mentioned.

Rumors: New EOS-1D Body Coming in 2014
Rumors from CR and NL, there will be a new EOS-1D body to be announced in 2014. This EOS-1D body will have a big megapixel sensor, which also rumored as Canon EOS-1S and Canon EOS 3D before.

Japanese magazine DC Watch interviewed the Canon managing director Tian Rong this week. He told us that the 7D successor Canon EOS 7D Mark II is not coming any time soon. At this CP+ Show 7D Mark II will not be announced.

Rumors from CR said that there will be an announcement on January 15, 2013 next week. Canon is going to announce the new DSLR Canon EOS 70D and some new lenses at this announcement.
