A new patent from Canon now listed on Egami. This new lens patent is Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 IS USM lens. This lens could be the replacement of current 50mm f/1.4 lens. We had heard replacement of 50mm f/1.4 since last year. CR also said a new 50mm f/1.2L lens is in testing.
The rumored Canon 75+ MP Pro DSLR now got more detail, Northlight image told that this 75MP sensor is actually contain a stacked sensor that uses three sensor layers in red, green, and blue in order to capture greater amounts of color information in each shot. Just like Sigma’s Foveon X3 sensors.
