Canon WM-E1-R Wireless Microphone Images Leaked

Images of Canon’s upcoming wireless microphone system have leaked online, revealing a compact Bluetooth-based lavalier mic designed specifically for Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras. The system, codenamed WM-E1-R, consists of a transmitter and receiver unit.

The leaked images show a sleek, black, oval-shaped transmitter with the Canon logo and “WM-E1-R” labeling, alongside a square-shaped receiver designed to mount directly onto the Canon Multi-Function Shoe found on EOS R cameras. The receiver also includes a 3.5mm jack for compatibility with other cameras.

Canon has just officially announced two new full-frame mirrorless cameras and four new lenses.
