Sigma has warned that FP2 and EVF-21 orders in Japan have exceeded its expectations ahead of the camera’s scheduled November 11, 2026 launch. Its October 29 notice says production is not keeping pace with demand and some customers may have to wait longer for delivery.
The notice covers the FP2 body, the 50mm F2 lens kit, the EVF-21 kit and the EVF-21 viewfinder sold separately. It is a Japanese supply notice, rather than confirmation that every retailer worldwide is sold out. Read Sigma’s notice.
