According to NR, the long awaited Nikon D4X will not be released, instead Nikon will release Nikon D800S to replace both Nikon D800 and Nikon D3X.
This is still a rumor, it is too early to mark this rumor with anything above 50% probability. In 2014, Nikon will release 3 or 4 DSLRs, two of them has already released:Nikon D3300, Nikon D4S, and one or two more to be released: Nikon D7200, Nikon D800S.

I wonder what they would tweak on the D800? Faster Processor?, improved video?
72MP! 😉
Faster shutter rates with the same resolution would be nice.
Higher MP, ISO and 1080p 60fps would be awesome!
Live view without artifacts from interpolation would be great. And I’d like to see a better tonality in the RAW-files, which would improve the usability of the cam for black and white photography. Nothing beats the Ricoh GR there, except the Leica Monochrom, of course.
I’d rather have the D400 please.
I wonder when it would actually be released?
Make sure it support 4k at least 60p
