Early today, Canon has confirmed to announce their first full frame mirrorless camera Canon EOS R on September 5th. Now, according to 43R, Panasonic is also confirmed to announce their first full frame mirrorless camera on September 25th.
It is now confirmed that Canon will finally announce their full frame mirrorless cameras next week on September 5th. The Canon full frame mirrorless camera will be named Canon EOS R as rumored before, and there will be 4 new RF mount lenses announced together. Nikon has officially announced the new D3500 DSLR camera today. It is an entry-level DSLR camera, the main change is that the body is similar to that of the even-smaller D5600, minus the articulating touchscreen display. The D3500 is also cheaper than its predecessor, with a list price of just $499 with an AF-P 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 VR lens, compared to $649 for a D3400 kit. Nikon has also managed to increase battery life by 30% to 1550 shots per charge, despite using the same processor and battery as the D3400. And according to latest rumors, the first Canon full frame mirrorless camera could be named Canon EOS R. It will compete with current Sony a7 III and Nikon Z6.
It seems that upcoming Nikon Z7 pre-orders will be delayed. Nikon Japan today announced that the recently announced Nikon Z7 (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens (B&H/Adorama/Amazon) pre-orders are far exceed. They can’t deliver all these pre-orders on time in late September.
