CAPA CAMERA WEB posted the best selling products of Yodobashi Camera’s interchangeable lens digital cameras in the first half of February 2022. Nikon Z9 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama) wins the top 1 position, followed by Sony FX3 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).

Nikon Z9 took the top spot in the rankings in the first half of February, following the previous one. Three Nikon models are ranked in. The return of Nikon Z6 II is a nice result.
Although 3 models and 4 models were ranked in the Sony group, the result was that the 2nd place Sony a7 IV was out of the rank due to lack of supply. The arrival schedule has been announced in early March, and it is still unclear when the serious supply shortage will be resolved.
As for Canon, three full-size models made it into the top ten this time as well.
Nikon Z9 has a very long delivery time due to an extreme supply shortage, but this time it is also the number one in Yodobashi, and it seems that a considerable number have been shipped. Nikon Z9 should still have so many backorders that it’s likely to stay high in the rankings for the time being if supply isn’t disrupted.
Sony stopped accepting orders for popular models such as Sony a7C and ZV-E10 and focused on producing the Sony a7 IV, but it is still out of rank, so the supply shortage seems to be quite serious. Under such circumstances, it is interesting that Sony FX3, which is a commercial machine, came in second place in place of Sony a7 IV.
Canon has dropped overall in recent years, and I have the impression that Canon EOS R3 is still out of rank and a bit sluggish compared to before.
