Fujifilm X-T5 to Have 40MP Non-Stacked Sensor

the current Fujifilm X-T4 ( Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama)

Fujifilm X-T5 is coming! According to the latest rumors from Fujirumors, this new camera will come with a 40MP non-stacked sensor, the same one that will be used by the Fujifilm X-H2 HR.

The new Fujifilm X-T5 will be equipped with the same 40-megapixel non-stacked sensor used in Fujifilm X-H2 HR. Fujifilm has no plans to release a version of the X-T5 with a stacked sensor, so the X-T5S will not appear.

If you want a single-lens reflex-style high-end camera with a stacked sensor, waiting for the X-T5S is a waste of time, so you might want to buy the X-H2S.

Earlier, DPReview predicted that Fujifilm X-T5 might have the same 40-megapixel sensor as the X-H2. In the future, Fujifilm is wondering whether 40 million pixel non-stacked sensors will be used in a wide range of models.
