Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens Officially Announced for $899

Today, Sigma officially announced the new  Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens . It is  a fast standard zoom lens for full-frame L- and E-mount, featuring three aspherical, two ‘FLD’ and two ‘SLD’ elements, as well as Super-Multi Layer and Nano Porous coatings to reduce ghosting and aberrations. It has a minimum focus distance of 19cm (7.5″) and a maximum magnification of 0.3X. This new lens costs $899, first availalbe for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama. Tamron 17-70mm F2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Lens was just officially announced. It is the world’s first 17-70mm F2.8, large aperture standard zoom lens for Sony APS-C mirrorless cameras with a large aperture everyday zoom, Fast, sharp, quiet, and small for everyday photography.
