Sony FE 70-200mm f/4.0 G OSS Lens Price, Pre-order & Buy Links

Sony US has revealed pricing and availability for its previously announced FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS. Like the other A7-compatible FE lenses it’s not especially cheap, though; the image-stabilised telezoom will be available in March for about $1500. In context, this is about $100 more than Nikon’s recent AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/4G ED VR; then again it looks as though Sony is generous enough to give you a tripod mount ring in the box.

Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens Price around $1,350 ?

The Australian website CameraPro listed the new Sigma 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art lens for pre-order, with a price at AUD $1,499.00, that’s around $1,350 in USD. The price of this lens hasn’t officially announced by Sigma USA. According to this price, this lens will be more expensive than their 35mm f/1.4 art lens.

For CES 2014, Sigma has announced the new 50mm f/1.4 DG HSM Art Lens. This is another art lens from Sigma. This Sigma lens is a fast ‘normal’ prime for full frame DSLRs. It will also work on APS-C / DX format cameras, offering a 75mm equivalent short telephoto effect.
