CAPA CAMERA WEB posted the best selling products of Yodobashi Camera’s interchangeable lens digital cameras in the first half of December 2024. Canon EOS R5 Mark II (B&H/ Adorama) wins the top 1 position , followed by Canon EOS R1 (Amazon/ B&H/ Adorama).
This time, Canon has four models, Sony has four models, and Nikon and Fujifilm have one model each. Canon EOS R5 Mark II, which was ranked the 4th last time, has moved up to the 1st place for the first time in a month and a half. Although Canon EOS R1, which was ranked 1st last time, has fallen to 2nd place, the top two are Canon’s latest two models.
In the 4th place, Sony’s full-frame mirrorless Sony A1 II, which was released on December 13th, makes its first appearance. This flagship model inherits the performance of the “α1” such as high resolution of approximately 50.1 effective megapixels and blackout-free high-speed continuous shooting of up to 30 frames per second, while also featuring enhanced AF functions using AI.
Nikon’s APS-C mirrorless Z50 II double zoom kit, which was also released on December 13th, also debuted in 5th place. The Picture Control button, a first for the Nikon Z series, allows you to easily create images to your liking. The double zoom kit comes with a standard zoom lens “NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR” and a telephoto zoom lens “NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f/4.5-6.3 VR”.
