Sigma to Announce New Fujifilm X-Mount Lenses on February 26 at CP+ 2026

According to Fujirumors, Sigma is expected to make a major announcement on February 26, 2026, which may include new APS-C lenses for Fujifilm X-mount. The announcement timing coincides with the CP+ 2026 show in Japan.

Sigma Fujifilm X-Mount Lenses

Sigma has been steadily expanding its Fujifilm X-mount lens lineup over the past couple of years, and this could be a significant expansion. While specific lens models haven’t been confirmed, the mention of APS-C lenses suggests Sigma may be adding dedicated crop-sensor options rather than just adapting their existing full-frame designs.

This would be welcome news for Fujifilm shooters who have been looking for more third-party lens options. Sigma’s Contemporary and Art series lenses have been well-received on other mounts, and bringing more of these to X-mount would give Fujifilm users additional choices at various price points.

Fujifilm itself is not expected to announce any new cameras or lenses at CP+ 2026 — the company’s recent launches like the Fujifilm X-E5 (B&H) are still relatively fresh. So the third-party lens announcements from Sigma and others like 7Artisans will be the main attraction for Fujifilm fans at the show.

We’ll update this post once Sigma makes the official announcement on February 26.
