Nikon Nikkor Z 600mm F6.3 PF lens is coming! This lens is expected to be about the same size and weight as the current Nikon Nikkor AF-S 500mm F5.6E PF ED VR. Although it is unlikely, the F value of the Z 600mm f/6.3 may be F5.6.
The price is expected to be around $4,000. It should weigh about 3 pounds (1390g). The official announcement of this lens is rumored to be on October 10th, but perhaps this is a development announcement. This lens is now being tested.
It seems like the information isn’t coming from a reliable source, so you shouldn’t get your hopes too high, but if it’s true, Nikon’s new super telephoto lens will be released in a week.
This lens seems to be a fairly lightweight, compact and easy-to-use lens for a 600mm.
