According to recently rumors from CR, the next EF 50mm f/1.2L II USM lens will be announced in 2016, after the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM lens and EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM lens.
The new EF 50mm f/1.2L II USM lens will be slightly smaller than current EF 50mm f/1.2L, but a bit heavier. The front element is bigger, and that the focus shift issue will be gone thanks to a floating element.
