According to NR, the long awaited Nikon D4X will not be released, instead Nikon will release Nikon D800S to replace both Nikon D800 and Nikon D3X.

This is still a rumor, it is too early to mark this rumor with anything above 50% probability. In 2014, Nikon will release 3 or 4 DSLRs, two of them has already released:Nikon D3300, Nikon D4S, and one or two more to be released: Nikon D7200, Nikon D800S.

  1. Live view without artifacts from interpolation would be great. And I’d like to see a better tonality in the RAW-files, which would improve the usability of the cam for black and white photography. Nothing beats the Ricoh GR there, except the Leica Monochrom, of course.
