I was about to purchase a G1x mark 2 and just saw the rumored release of the Nikon P8000. Am needing to purchase in the next two weeks because of a planned trip to Africa. If the rumored P8000 specs are true this is the camera I would certainly prefer. Is there any way of knowing how real is the P8000 is and when it would be available for purchase??
