A new Tamron lens is coming! According to the latest rumors Camera Beta:
“The Tamron 17-28mm F2.8 Di III VXD G2 will be announced later this year. This new lens uses the VXD for faster, more accurate AF. This lens will be available at the end of the year. ”
Tamron has recently updated Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 G2 lens, so we are hoping that the wide-angle zoom will definitely be updated as well.
It is a rumor that it is not backed up from China, but since the 28-75mm F2.8 has been remodeled to G2, it seems natural that the 17-28mm F2.8 will also be remodeled to G2. Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 has become G2 and the AF and optical system have been greatly improved, so I would like to expect the same evolution for the 17-28mm F2.8.
