The upcoming Sony a7R V will be officially announced on October 26th, 2022. According to SAR, there are some more specs leaked online now, including 8 stop IBIS and a fully articulating LCD screen. You can take a look at below.

- Same 61MP sensor because all the power goes to the new processor.
- TOTALLY New Autofocus system with AI processing unit for object recognition and human pose estimation
- 8k 24p (cropped)
- 4k 60p 4k 24p (full read out)
- S cinetone is available
- 8 stop IBIS
- A fully articulating LCD screen
- Cooling heat sink design of the a7S III (up to 30min 8K recording without overheating)
- Body looks like a mix between the Sony a7S III and Sony a7 IV.
